Evolve is a specialist training and consultancy service focused on helping organisations develop and deliver high-quality social support and safeguarding services.
We provide support across four specialist areas: Peer Support, Family Support, Co-production and Safeguarding.
Co-production also underpins how we work. We believe the voice of lived experience should do more than inform a service. It should influence how services are designed, delivered and improved.
We work with you to understand what you want to achieve, review your existing services, pathways and processes, and identify what needs to change. Where new services are being developed, we can support you from initial design through to implementation.
Every organisation is different, so we do not offer off-the-shelf packages. Each piece of work is developed around your organisation, your staff and the people who use your services.
Training can be delivered across all staff groups, including boards, senior leaders, clinicians, support workers and wider teams such as communications and fundraising.
We have extensive experience of developing and delivering Peer Support, Family Support, Co-production and Safeguarding across a range of settings, including the military, mental health and social care.
Introducing a new service, pathway or policy is often the easy part. Making sure it works in practice is harder. Successful implementation requires the right culture, leadership, processes, training and support for staff.

Specialist Areas
PEER SUPPORT
Peer Support can be an intervention in its own right, or complement an existing service or intervention. However, it needs to be designed around the outcomes your service is trying to achieve, rather than included as a token effort to demonstrate lived experience involvement.
We can help you design and embed Peer Support roles, pathways, training and supervision, ensuring Peer Support is properly integrated into your service and that both staff and Peer Supporters understand their roles, responsibilities and boundaries.
This can include introducing Peer Support alongside a clinical pathway, developing it as part of a wider social support programme, or reviewing and improving an existing Peer Support service.
FAMILY SUPPORT
You might work with an individual for an hour a week, but for the rest of the time they are recovering in the context of their wider support network.
That network might include family, friends or others important to them. It can be a significant resource in creating and sustaining change, but relationships and circumstances outside of your service can also affect progress.
We can help you develop and embed Family Support interventions, services and supervision frameworks, ensuring those important to the people you support are involved in a way that is safe, appropriate and genuinely helpful.
This can include developing a new Family Support offer, integrating Family Support alongside an existing clinical or social support pathway, or reviewing and improving an established service.
SAFEGUARDING
Gold standard safeguarding is not something an organisation should ever consider fully achieved. It is something you should continually review, challenge and seek to improve.
We can review your pathways, policies, processes and practice to identify strengths, gaps and areas for improvement, helping you build safeguarding excellence into the way your service operates.
Whether you deliver clinical services or social support, we can also provide specialist training, supervision and consultancy to strengthen safeguarding practice across your organisation.
CO-PRODUCTION
Co-production is more than asking people for their views. If lived experience is going to genuinely influence a service, people need meaningful opportunities to shape how that service is designed, delivered and improved.
We can help you develop practical approaches to Co-production that are appropriate for your organisation and the people you support, ensuring involvement is meaningful rather than tokenistic.
This can include developing Co-production frameworks, establishing lived experience groups, supporting recruitment and training, reviewing existing approaches, and helping you embed lived experience within service design, delivery and improvement.
Training and Supervision
Whether you are looking for a one-hour Family Support session for a clinical team, a full Family Support Worker training programme, or specialist training in Peer Support, Co-production or Safeguarding, we can develop and deliver training around the needs of your service.
We can also train and support your supervisors, provide ongoing supervision for Peer and Family Support Workers, and offer specialist consultancy on complex safeguarding cases.
Whatever the requirement, we will work with you to understand what you need and develop support that fits your service, rather than asking you to fit around an existing package.
Culture Assessment & Pathway Design
Whether you are developing a new service or want to understand how well an existing one is working, we can provide an independent review of your culture, pathways and practice.
We can work with staff, leaders and people with lived experience to identify what is working well, where there are gaps, and what could be improved.
This can include service reviews and recommendations, co-design of Peer Support, Family Support and Safeguarding pathways, support with implementation, and ongoing training and supervision.
Embedding Change
Managing and embedding change doesn't stop once everyone has been trained or a new model has been launched.
We provide follow-up workshops to help embed new ways of working, address any challenges that emerge, and ensure that old habits, processes and attitudes don't gradually creep back in.
